We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support chefs in delivering high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients, cooking, and plating dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef during daily operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Label, store, and rotate food items properly to minimize waste.
  • Follow kitchen procedures and maintain equipment safely.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Work efficiently during busy service hours.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food hygiene, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.
  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification (preferred).
