Commis Chef

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with resort standards
• Ensure consistency, portion control, and food quality at all times
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP compliance)
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation of food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as Commis I in a hotel or fine-dining environment
• Culinary certification or diploma preferred
• Knowledge of healthy, wellness-oriented, or specialty diets is an advantage
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn
