Commis Pastry (The Artisan Apprentice)

​Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Commis Pastry Chef who embodies the NOMAD spirit of curiosity and precision. This role is about mastering the "Handcrafted" philosophy—respecting raw ingredients and maintaining the high-level artistry our kitchen is known for.

​Key Responsibilities:

Preparation & Production: Assisting with the preparation of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts according to established NOMAD recipes.

Mise en Place: Preparing, peeling, washing, and chopping ingredients.

Station Maintenance: Ensuring the workstation, equipment, and storage areas are clean, sanitary, and organized.

Stock Management: Managing inventory, including proper labeling, storage, and rotating of ingredients.

Support: Assisting Chef de Parties or Demi Chefs with daily operations and, when needed, other kitchen sections.

​Requirements: 2+ years in a high-end culinary environment, strong leadership potential, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
