Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commi Chef to join our team. As a Commi Chef, you will assist our kitchen team in preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes according to our menu specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various menu items under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to meet quality standards.
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and hygienic at all times.
• Monitor portion control, food waste, and kitchen inventory management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Help with receiving and storing deliveries of supplies and ingredients.
• Assist with menu planning and development as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Follow proper cleaning and maintenance procedures for kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or cafe setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
• Culinary diploma or degree is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:

• Commi: 1 year (Preferred)
