Position Overview:

We are seeking Commissioning Electrical Engineer who will execute commissioning of MV / LV power systems and their interfaces to MEP (HVAC, Fire, BMS) so the asset reaches safe, compliant, documented handover (FAC), on-schedule handover with complete and auditable records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the approved Cx plan (lots/sequences/windows); keep daily progress and punch/defect logs up to date.
  • Perform tests per approved Method Statements / ITPs / Test Packs (pre-functional & functional), capture results with traceable evidence.
  • ELV (perform/witness): Fire Alarm & PAVA, BMS interfaces, Access/CCTV, Car-Park Mgmt., Emergency Lighting, Lighting Control, Telecom.
  • LV (perform/witness): Generator, ATS, MDB/SMDB/DB, MCC/VFD, PFC, UPS, earthing/grounding, lighting/power circuits.
  • MV ~13.8 kV (witness/support): Switchgear, transformers, cables; verify pre-energization prerequisites via checklists.
  • Participate on SAT/IST; follow step-by-step procedures; log deviations; provide inputs to RFI/NCR closure.
  • Verify installation vs drawings/specs/codes (IEC/BS EN/NFPA/SBC); raise non-conformities and track to closure.
  • Prepare evidence packs for Saudi Civil Defense inspections (Fire/ELV) and support SEC/House of Expertise engagements.
  • Submit weekly status to the Commissioning Manager; escalate risks early; coordinate with GC/subs/vendors/Consultant.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of T&C Electrical experience on buildings/industrial/infrastructure.
  • Hands-on with ITPs, test packs, SAT/IST; competent use of test instruments (insulation/continuity, earthing, power quality, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SBC, IEC/BS EN, NFPA; HSE awareness (PTW/LOTO).
  • Clear technical reporting; drawings/specs literacy; follow-through on actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interfaces with BMS / Fire Alarm during IST; ELV familiarity is a plus but not core.
  • Exposure to ABB/Schneider/Siemens switchgear; Cummins/Kohler gensets; APC/Eaton UPS.
  • Digital tools for snagging/commissioning, and Power BI/advanced Excel for trackers and dashboards.
  • Authority/third-party approvals experience (utility tie-ins, Civil Defense/House of Expertise where applicable).
