As part of a major infrastructure program in Riyadh (PMCM scope), we are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to lead and oversee all process engineering systems across the project lifecycle.
You will provide strategic and technical leadership, driving design excellence and ensuring robust delivery of process systems across water, wastewater, stormwater, and district cooling assets. Acting as the subject matter expert, you will guide multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with regulatory, sustainability, and program objectives within a client-facing PMO/PMC environment.
Lead and oversee technical review, validation, and approval of all process design submissions from consultants and contractors.
Drive strategic planning and integration of process systems across large-scale infrastructure programs.
Act as the lead technical advisor to the client on all process engineering matters.
Establish and enforce quality assurance frameworks for process engineering deliverables.
Lead coordination across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, utilities, and MEP.
Champion value engineering, innovation, and optimization initiatives across process systems.
Provide leadership support during procurement, including review of specifications, tender documents, and technical evaluations.
Lead risk assessments, technical workshops, and sustainability initiatives at a program level.
Oversee construction-phase implementation, ensuring compliance, performance, and best practice standards.
Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
15+ years of experience in process engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within PMC/PMO or consulting environments in the Middle East.
Extensive expertise in water/wastewater treatment, pumping stations, stormwater systems, and utility infrastructure.
Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project interfaces.
Strong knowledge of international standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.) and regional regulatory frameworks.
Proven stakeholder management and client engagement experience at senior levels.
Experience on large-scale infrastructure or urban development programs is essential.
Professional membership (e.g., IChemE, ASME) is preferred.
