Commissioning Engineer

I am currently on the lookout for a Commissioning Engineer for projects across the GCC. I am acting on behalf of a well-established and ever-growing business based out of Dubai who are operating heavily in Data Centre Industry.

This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout the globe with exponential growth in their Data Centre Division. As a Commissioning Engineer, you could travel across the GCC working on multiple large scale Data Centre projects.

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering L2-L5 commissioning activities for assigned systems or areas, ensuring technical compliance, quality, and readiness for acceptance.

• Lead verification of installation readiness.
• Review and approve installation checklists, ITPs, and Method Statements.
• Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria.
• lan and witness commissioning of individual items of plant and equipment.
• Verify correct operation, settings, controls, and protections.

Confirm stability before progression to system testing.

L4 - System Functional Testing:

• Coordinate and witness system functional tests.
• Verify sequences of operation and system responses.
• Confirm compliance with design intent and operational requirements.

L5 - Integrated Systems Testing:

• Support Integrated Systems Testing activities.
• Validate resilience and recovery outcomes for assigned systems.
• Assist in client demonstrations and acceptance activities.

To be considered for this Commissioning Engineer role:

• 5-8 years commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities.
• Proven Data Centre or critical infrastructure exposure.
• Strong technical documentation and coordination skills.
• Mechanical or Electrical background welcome.
• L2 - L5 experience
