Commnity and Engagement Manager

Role Summary:

In your first week, youll work directly with the CEO to define the structure, purpose, and priorities of the platforms community ecosystem including Discord, social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), and organic growth strategies. Youll then be responsible for executing this plan, managing day-to-day engagement, and building systems that promote community health and user retention.

This role is ideal for someone prepared to step into a senior position, with future plans to hire and lead a small team comprising moderators, content assistants, and Discord specialists. Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a key leadership position within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the community structure alongside leadership
• Set up and manage Discord server and social media channels
• Develop content calendars, engagement loops, and moderation protocols
• Recruit, onboard, and manage a small team of community staff
• Build scalable systems for community growth and health
• Use analytics to adjust strategy and improve user retention
• Be the internal and external voice of the community
• Lead organic growth efforts (no reliance on paid ads)
• Identify strategic opportunities for creator and audience engagement

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in community management, social media, or digital engagement
• Excellent written communication skills; fluent in online culture
• Independent, confident decision-maker
• Strong experience with Discord community building is a plus
• Understands growth tactics, virality, and creator ecosystems
• Ready to hire, train, and manage a small team
• Ambitious and eager to grow into a senior leadership role
• Resilient, self-driven, and thrives in startup environments

Work Timings: 10 am - 7pm

Work Days: Monday - Friday
