Communications Executive

Action Global Communications, an independent communications agency spanning three continents, is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Communications Executive to support high-impact communication campaigns across the UAE.

Role Description

As a Communications Executive, you will play a key role in delivering compelling, creative, and consistent communications across various platforms. Working closely with the client teams, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and supporting all aspects of client communications—admin, reporting, editorial, and creative brainstorming.
• Drafting content such as press releases, media alerts, and pitches in English.
• Managing media relations: distributing content, handling follow-ups, responding to media inquiries, and maintaining strong ties with local and regional journalists and influencers.
• Attending and supporting client meetings and events, including contact reporting and on-site coordination.
• Keeping communications assets organized and up to date (media lists, backgrounders, editorial materials).
• Monitoring the media landscape, industry news, competitor activity, and sharing relevant insights.
• Collaborating across departments with a focus on social media integration and content quality assurance.
• Staying ahead of communications trends to contribute fresh ideas and best practices.

Knowledge and Experience

• BA/MA in Communications, PR, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years in a communications or PR role, ideally with campaign execution experience.
• Strong relationships with local and regional media will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered a plus.
• Familiar with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities; confident multitasker.
• Team player with a "can-do" attitude, detail-oriented, creative thinker, and committed to meeting deadlines.
