Job Description Summary
This 6‑month internship provides hands‑on experience in corporate communications within the Daher Group, a global leader in aviation, manufacturing, and services. The position offers the opportunity to build real‑world writing, editing, and content‑creation skills while collaborating with international teams across the United States and France. This internship may be performed remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Write, edit, and proofread press releases, news stories, and marketing materials.
Develop and produce newsletter content, including conducting interviews, transcribing notes, writing stories, photo/pre‑production etc.
Contribute and assist with the writing, editing, and layout of brochures and other promotional assets.
Review and refine written and visual content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Collaborate with Daher Aircraft teams across Sandpoint, Idaho; Pompano Beach, Florida; and Tarbes, France.
Monitor media outlets, social media platforms, and Daher’s digital channels—including
TBM.aero and
Kodiak.aero—to support content tracking and reporting.
Maintain and update the corporate media kit, ensuring materials remain current and high‑quality.
Perform additional communications‑related duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have high school diploma and must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program focused on communications and/or journalism.
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline‑driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of digital media, social platforms, and online content trends.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional and international teams.
Must have reliable internet access if working remotely.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Familiarity with content‑creation tools such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, or similar content creation applications is a plus (but not required).
Interest in aviation, aerospace, global business, or technology is a plus (but not required).
Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.
