Communications Manager

Amar Khamar is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of “Communications Manager ”.

Job responsibilities:

The Communications Manager will be in charge of developing all internal and external communications of various research and consulting initiatives with necessary effectiveness and quality.

Young and energetic candidate with ability and experience in the following areas should apply:

· Creating informative and interesting social media content and related communications. Manage appropriate social media platforms on behalf of the organization.

· Creating informative and interesting flyers, newsletters, press releases, press kits, and related communication materials.

· Developing effective digital communication strategies that generate the interest of different stakeholders involved.

· Responding to all communication related issues in a timely manner.

Qualification:

· Masters/Bachelor Degree. A degree in natural or social science will be an advantage. Qualifications in journalism, public relations or relevant fields will also be preferred.

· Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Bengali. Proficiency in managing and improving social media communication.

· Ability to work from Kolkata as well as from different project locations.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience needed.

Working experience of developing content and communication in the area of sustainable development, consumption, agriculture, food, waste management, etc. would be an advantage.

Salary: Will be commensurate with expertise & experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

• Gariahat, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
