Communications Specialist – Middle East, Türkiye & Africa

We are now looking for a Communications Specialist, KONE Middle East Türkiye & Africa , based in Egypt, to execute internal communication plans, craft engaging and inspiring content, and ensure consistent communication flow across our KMTA markets.

This role reports to the Communications Leader, KMTA , and works closely with internal stakeholders across different markets to coordinate and execute structured, engaging, and consistent communication flows. The position primarily focuses on internal communications, while also supporting selected external communication initiatives when required.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who wants first-hand experience working across diverse and dynamic markets. The role offers exposure to different cultures, business environments, and communication maturity levels, providing a unique platform to explore how messaging is shaped, localized, and brought to life across countries.

You will play an active role in strengthening communication foundations, driving consistency while respecting local nuances, and engaging teams through creative and impactful content that connects people across the region.

What will you be doing?

Internal Communications (Primary Focus)

  • Execute the KONE Middle East, Türkiye & Africa internal communication plan in alignment with business priorities and regional objectives
  • Create engaging, clear, and creative content for internal platforms, including intranet, newsletters, organizational announcements, people stories, internal screens, and other engagement channels
  • Ensure a structured and consistent communication flow across KONE Middle East, Türkiye & Africa markets
  • Work closely with the Communications Leader and P&C team in the region on organizational announcements, messaging alignment, and communication cascading
  • Partner with local P&C teams across countries to support internal communication needs, providing guidance, templates, content creation support, and messaging frameworks to strengthen local execution
  • Support markets in activating and enhancing their internal communication channels, ensuring alignment with regional standards
  • Maintain and manage the regional internal communication calendar to ensure coordination and visibility
  • Monitor engagement levels and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness
  • Support the planning and execution of internal company events, ensuring strong messaging, engagement, and professional communication standards

External Communication Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Support the preparation of press releases and external announcements in alignment with regional priorities and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop social media content that strengthens employer branding and showcases our culture, people, and achievements
  • Proactively identify and develop compelling success stories across our markets, including women empowerment initiatives, award recognitions, safety milestones, team achievements, and other stories that reflect our commitments and values
  • Play a key role in the communication planning and execution of external events, ensuring strong brand presence, consistent messaging, and high-quality communication deliverables

Are you the one?

  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications (internal communication experience is essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Integrated Marketing Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Strong content creation skills across written and digital formats, with hands-on experience using basic design and video editing tools, and a solid understanding of visual storytelling, layout, and brand design principles
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging messaging
  • Organized and structured, with strong project management skills
  • Experience working in matrix and multicultural environments
  • Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory)
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in French is an added advantage

You are proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with different stakeholders across diverse markets.
