Communications Trainee | Patriot Emergency Medical Services | Rockmart, GA

Patriot Emergency Medical Services is hiring a Communications Trainee at our headquarters in Rockmart, GA. This is a full-time, entry-level position with a structured path to advancement. We provide all job-specific training from day one, and we're looking for people who take their work seriously and want to grow with a company that's expanding.

What the role is:

The Communications Trainee works inside our HQ communications center learning the full scope of medical transport coordination. You'll train alongside experienced specialists, progress through a defined curriculum, and work toward promotion to Communications Specialist once training is complete. The work is detail-oriented and fast-paced. You'll be processing transport requests, coordinating with field crews, maintaining documentation in our dispatch system, and serving as a professional point of contact for hospitals and care facilities.

What we're looking for:

You need a high school diploma or equivalent, solid communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities calmly, and a genuine willingness to learn this craft. Prior dispatch or medical experience is a plus but not required. You must be able to complete our full training program, which includes AHA CPR certification.
