Community Engagement Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and execute community engagement initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and support volunteers to ensure effective program delivery and community involvement.
• Lead public speaking engagements at community events, workshops, and meetings to raise awareness about organizational programs and initiatives.
• Develop marketing strategies utilizing social media platforms, newsletters, and local media to promote community activities and foster participation.
• Manage data collection efforts related to program outcomes, volunteer engagement metrics, and community feedback for continuous improvement.
• Oversee project management tasks including planning timelines, resource allocation, and reporting to ensure successful program execution.
• Build strong partnerships with local organizations, schools, health agencies, and other stakeholders to expand outreach efforts.
• Provide guidance on addiction counseling, public health initiatives, or social work topics as needed to support community well-being.
• Lead fundraising campaigns by engaging donors and community members to support ongoing programs.
• Maintain administrative records related to volunteer hours, event logistics, and program evaluations with accuracy and attention to detail.

Skills

• Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams of diverse individuals.
• Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences of varying sizes confidently.
• Strong background in program development with a focus on community outreach or social services.
• Effective project management capabilities including planning, organizing, and executing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Knowledge of marketing principles with experience managing social media accounts and digital content creation.
• Competence in data collection methods and analyzing feedback for program enhancement.
• Familiarity with addiction counseling, public health practices, or social work is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
• Experience in fundraising activities including donor engagement and campaign planning.
• Solid administrative skills for record keeping, reporting, and managing logistics efficiently.
• Ability to recruit participants for programs or events through targeted outreach strategies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
