With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Service in Dundee. Working within a team(s) you will provide nursing care to patients and support to their carers within a home/community setting.
Dundee Community Nursing Service is in the implementation phase of Transforming District Nursing and it is anticipated that this will bring significant opportunities for career pathways in the future. You will be a first level adult registered nurse with a desire to develop your career in the community. You will be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
Due to Health and Social Care integration, a commitment to multi disciplinary working with
the ability to adapt and manage change within the service is essential.
Working a variety of shifts over 7 days between 08.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs including weekends and public holidays.
Ability to travel across Dundee and the surrounding areas is essential. Please note, job description currently under review and may be subject to change.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register
