Community Residential Specialist

A Community Residential Specialist is responsible for Individual Support at a residential location. 2 weekends/month.

Responsibilities
  • work at designated residential locations
  • Submit audit on a weekly basis and as needed
  • participate in staff meetings, house meetings, compile notes and submit to the supervisor in a timely manner
  • Complete an accurate timesheet prior to end of pay period
  • Organize and accompany clients on 1 outing per month
  • Preparing essential documentation and the timely reporting of any incident according to pre described protocol
  • Alerting management of any maintenance concerns.
  • Running errands and performing necessary tasks
  • Be open to coaching and communication

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to quickly adapt to on-going changes and request
  • Attention to detail, multitasking, excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
Requirements
  • High school diploma/equivalent or administrative certification
  • 3-5 years of general office,administrative experience and working with Intellectual Developmental Disability Population
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Excellent data entry, email/ scans/downloads using Google Extensions, Adobe,
  • Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
  • Desire to work 20-25 hours/week
  • Performed any other duties deemed necessary
