Compensation Analyst

Starkey is hiring for a Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team at our corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

  • Serve as an internal resource to HR on compensation matters
    • Provide HR Business Partners with the data and decision support necessary for them to give council to the business on compensation-related matters.
    • Help interpret policy, analyze and interpret data, solve problems and respond to requests, considering external benchmark data, internal benchmark data, and the strategic importance of the job(s)
    • Serve as a compensation resource to Payroll, HR, and Talent Management.
  • Maintain documentation, communicate policies and educate on compensation processes.
    • Ensure that the proper process documentation is available to managers and employees regarding compensation related matters.
    • Provide communication and training efforts related to compensation policy and processes to HR and Managers.
  • Create and maintain job titles, job codes, job families, job descriptions, and pay structures/bands in corresponding systems.
  • Manage survey submission process.
    • Complete survey submissions and gather data from global partners for submissions on annual basis.
    • Complete various surveys related to compensation practices throughout the year.
    • Manage MarketPay system, which is used to market-price jobs, administer salary survey submissions and results, and conduct pay analyses on internal jobs.
  • Identify opportunities for compensation program improvements, discuss solutions with Total Rewards Leaders, and help implement changes.
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Compensation, Business, Accounting or related field required
    • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation preferred
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis

Knowledge / Technical Requirements

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excel experience required
  • Experience with market-pricing tools, such as MarketPay
  • Experience with completing salary survey submission process

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $64,680 - $88,200 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
