Round Rock ISD is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Compensation Specialist to support the administration of district compensation programs. About the Role:

The Compensation Specialist supports the development, implementation, and administration of district compensation programs. This role works closely with Human Resource Services, Payroll, and campus and department leaders to ensure accurate pay practices, compliance with regulations, and consistent application of compensation policies.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the administration of district compensation plans, salary schedules, and pay practices.
  • Analyze employee data to ensure accuracy, equity, and compliance with district policies and state requirements.
  • Process compensation-related actions, including stipends, adjustments, and salary placements.
  • Assist with job evaluations, position classifications, and compensation studies.
  • Respond to compensation inquiries from employees, campus administrators, and department leaders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to compensation and pay structures.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams to resolve compensation discrepancies.
  • Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives related to compensation practices.
