Compliance Billing Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Compliance Billing Officer. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and billing procedures to effectively support our healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies using DRG, CPT coding, and ICD-10 standards.
• Review patient records for completeness and accuracy before billing.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies or issues with insurance providers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and coding updates.
• Process payments and adjustments in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation is available for billing purposes.
• Utilize EMR and EHR systems to manage patient information and billing records efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or collections within a healthcare setting is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to interpret medical records accurately.
• Experience working with EMR and EHR systems is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
