Responsibilities:
KYC/KYT Process Management:

Oversee and manage Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Trade (KYT) processes for customers, suppliers, and counterparties.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure due diligence is in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Escalate and resolve compliance issues promptly.
Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on global compliance requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and anti-corruption laws.

Conduct regular compliance audits and propose actionable recommendations.
Compliance Program Execution:

Contribute to the development and implementation of the Compliance Program.

Support compliance in training to educate staff and promote a culture of compliance across the organization.
Supply Chain Monitoring:

Evaluate compliance risks within the supply chain and oversee supplier due diligence.

Collaborate with trading / supply chain teams to ensure vendors meet regulatory and operational standards.

Flagg irregularity to the management
Department Growth:

Support the strategic growth of the Compliance Department, enhancing processes and expanding departmental capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with compliance goals.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities and prepare reports for internal and external audits.

Manage compliance-related inquiries and correspondence effectively.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
-
Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

Legal education or certification is highly advantageous.
Experience:

At least 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably in the oil and gas sector or global trading / bank.

Expertise in KYC/KYT processes and a strong understanding of supply chain compliance.
Skills:

Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, and anti-corruption regulations.

Proficiency in compliance tools and technologies.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:

Familiarity with global oil and gas trading practices is a plus.

Legal and regulatory knowledge relevant to the sector is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.

Multilingual abilities are an advantage, given the global nature of the role.
