Computer Aided Design Designer

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–2+ years of professional CAD drafting experience
• Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD - CAD Certification required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specifications
• Background in utilities, power distribution, or civil/site development projects

Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter with at least 2 years of experience to join their team in the Orlando, Florida area. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in 2D AutoCAD, holds a CAD certification (or related education), and has experience supporting engineering projects within utilities, power, or civil environments. This individual will play a key role in developing and maintaining construction standards documentation and supporting the creation of a specification (spec) book and engineering manual. They will sit onsite in office 5 days a week and will occasionally meet with clients.

Compensation:

$24/hr to $30/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
