We’re looking for an experienced  individual contributor  who can immediately take ownership of managing and loading CAD files into our field construction equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS units, machine control systems), ensuring accurate file versioning, integrity, and troubleshooting across devices.

We need someone  ready to hit the ground running  — this is not a learning-on-the-job position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed concrete construction drawings, formwork layouts, and site plans using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM exposure a plus).
  • Troubleshoot CAD-related device issues, working closely with field teams and equipment vendors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to ensure drawings reflect current project conditions and methods.
  • Revise and update drawings to incorporate design changes, field redlines, and value engineering adjustments.
  • Organize and maintain drawing files, standards, and CAD libraries for project documentation.
  • Support pre-construction efforts with visual layouts, 3D models, and takeoff assistance when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to clarify design intent and technical details.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in CAD design, drafting, or a related field.
  • AutoCAD experience in construction, civil, or structural disciplines (concrete experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, scales, and layout coordination.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, and/or other BIM or visualization tools a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfortable collaborating with office and field personnel.
