Team: Residential Support Team (Works Across ALL Teams: Residential & Business)
Position: Computer Repair | Tech Support | Sales | Field Support (In-Person Role with Hybrid options)
Location: 344 N Washington Street, Saint Croix Falls, WI (Service Center #001)
Schedule Options: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Solutions Role), 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM (Repair & Support Role)
Client Type: Residential (Home Users) & Business Support
As part of the Residential Support Team, you’ll work in person at our Service Center, handling the majority of physical support needs for all teams—including Business & Residential Support.
This role is highly collaborative, working closely with:
✔️ Other Service Centers to support local and regional clients.
✔️ Remote Teams (Home Support & Business Support) to coordinate repairs, sales, and field service.
Your daily responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware/software issues, handling tech sales, providing remote support, and performing field service visits. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise and customer service skills.
What You’ll Do
This role combines technical troubleshooting, in-person repairs, and IT sales. You’ll be expected to quickly diagnose issues, resolve problems, and offer solutions that improve the client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues for residential & business clients.
✔️ Provide in-person technical support – Troubleshoot and resolve problems onsite at the Service Center.
✔️ Assist customers with IT solutions – Recommend products, memberships, security options, and other tech services.
✔️ Perform field support – Conduct onsite service visits for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
✔️ Manage multiple tasks efficiently – Handle repairs, sales inquiries, remote support sessions, and phone calls.
✔️ Answer inbound calls and assist walk-in clients – Help customers find solutions in-store, over the phone, and via remote support.
✔️ Work closely with the Business & Residential Teams – Communicate via Microsoft Teams to coordinate service and client needs.
✔️ Keep up with industry trends – Stay updated on the latest technology solutions and best practices.
This is not just a repair job—you will play a key role in client interactions, service coordination, and IT solutions recommendations.
Who We’re Looking For
✅ Required Skills & Experience
✔️ 3+ years of IT support & troubleshooting experience
✔️ 2+ years of sales and customer service experience
✔️ 1+ years of experience in field support (onsite troubleshooting, networking, or IT services)
✔️ Strong technical aptitude & passion for IT
✔️ Local candidates only – Must be within 30 miles of Saint Croix Falls, WI
✔️ Proficiency in Windows OS & Microsoft 365
✔️ Ability to diagnose, repair, and replace hardware components
✔️ Experience installing operating systems, software, and drivers
✔️ Excellent communication skills – Ability to explain tech solutions to non-technical users
✔️ Physical ability to stand for an entire shift & perform onsite visits as needed
Bonus Points – Preferred Skills
✔️ Typing speed of 60+ WPM
✔️ Experience working at an MSP or MSSP (3-5+ years preferred)
✔️ Networking experience (Firewall/Router & Networking troubleshooting)
✔️ Sales expertise in IT services, hardware, and security solutions
✔️ IT Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.)
✔️ AS/BS Degree in IT or related field
