Computer Science Instructor (AP)

Experience teaching AP Computer Science A (in the USA or Canada) is mandatory for this teaching position - Applicants with this experience are encouraged to apply.

Teaching Position: Exploring Scholar is seeking an AP Computer Science (A) teacher to join our team. Teachers will work with students remotely through Zoom or Google Classroom. Ideally, candidates currently teach AP Computer Science during the day and are looking to do some extra teaching during the after school hours and weekends. This is a fully-remote, contractor position. Teachers are expected to teach a minimum 2 hours per week.

Teacher Qualifications:

• Teaching experiences in AP Computer Science A in a reputable school setting.
• Proficient in online teaching tools.
• Up to date with the curriculum changes for 2025-2026.
• Must have reliable after school availability during September - May

Responsibilities:

• Prepare APCSA lessons.
• Deliver high quality lessons to small classes of 1-12 students.
• Help promote students' interests in the subject.
• Provide feedback on student homework and assessments.
