Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary:

The Department of Computer Science at [Institution Name] invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning [Start Date]. Areas of particular interest include (but are not limited to): artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science, software engineering, and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science.
• Conduct scholarly research in the candidate’s area of expertise.
• Supervise student research projects and graduate theses.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement.
• Engage in departmental, college, university, and professional service.
• Seek external funding for research and educational initiatives (particularly at research institutions).
• Maintain office hours and advise students.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Ph.D./Master degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• B.Tech in CS
• Evidence of or potential for effective teaching at the college/university level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and research.

Preferred:

• Experience teaching a range of computer science topics.
• A record of peer-reviewed publications and scholarly activity.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration or industry partnerships.
• Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
