The Opportunity
Join our elite engineering team at Adobe, where you can collaborate with dedicated experts on core libraries for various Adobe products. This role offers a chance to create a notable influence and contribute to products used by billions globally.
Join Adobe's CoreTech Color & Graphics team as a Computer Scientist - II. Your work will have a strong impact on multiple products in the organization and provide a cohesive experience across the Adobe ecosystem.

What you'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain core libraries that power color and graphics-related features in Adobe desktop, mobile and web offerings.
Close collaboration with multiple product teams to understand their needs, and deliver the required solutions.
Comprehend, debug, and re-architect complex legacy codebases to improve performance and maintainability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to invent and implement new features to provide value to our end users and improve the performance of our libraries.
Ensure the flawless execution of software development processes
Continuously improve code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews

Must have skills:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field from a prestigious institution or equivalent experience
6-9 years of software development experience
Proven proficiency in C and C++
Experience working with large, complex codebases, preferably in the domain of color management and computer graphics
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment

Good to have:
Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch / TensorFlow
Experience working with AI coding assistants and using them to multiply productivity
