A Computer Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and related hardware or software. This role ensures that desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals operate efficiently and securely, supporting both end-users and organizational IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty components in computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assemble and set up new computer systems.
- Upgrade hardware to meet organizational or client requirements.
- Software Installation & Troubleshooting
- Install operating systems, software applications, and security updates.
- Troubleshoot software issues, system errors, and virus/malware infections.
- Configure software settings according to user or company standards.
- Networking Support
- Assist in connecting computers to networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Support basic network configurations and device setups.
- User Support & Training
- Respond to technical support requests from end-users.
- Provide guidance and training on proper computer use and best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and IT inventory.
- Report recurring issues and suggest improvements for IT infrastructure.

Pay: QAR55,000.00 - QAR70,000.00 per year
