Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high quality concrete floor finishing work on various projects, including commercial, residential. Your expertise will help ensure smooth, durable, and visually appealing concrete floors and other surfaces. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and construction safety standards. Responsibilities
- Finish poured concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping with hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Install rebar reinforcement and prepare forms according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity.
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment safely to transport and pour concrete efficiently on site.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, brooming, stamping, or sealing to enhance appearance and durability of concrete surfaces.
- Perform rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, and related tasks for comprehensive site development.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, form setting, and material handling while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other tradespeople during renovation or restoration projects for seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; inspect work for quality assurance throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as skid steers or forklifts), and concrete pumping systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing prep, framing carpentry (metal stud framing), masonry techniques, welding basics, and demolition/restoration work is highly desirable.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting; ability to stand for long periods; excellent manual dexterity; good vision for detail-oriented tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
