Concrete Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties

• Assist with the preparation of concrete forms, including framing, rebar installation, and setting up formwork systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site.
• Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision, ensuring smoothness and adherence to project specifications.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution.
• Install rebar reinforcement for structural integrity and coordinate with team members for proper placement.
• Perform masonry tasks such as stucco, tile laying, and plastering as needed for various projects.
• Conduct site cleanup, organize materials, and assist with demolition or renovation activities when required.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling heavy lifting, scaffolding, roofing materials, or operating heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any malfunctions promptly.

Experience

• Previous construction site experience is highly preferred, especially in concrete finishing or related trades.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation, and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical instructions related to concrete work.
• Skills in rebar installation, form building (including metal stud framing), flooring installation, tile laying or masonry are advantageous.
• Experience with renovation projects or restoration work involving concrete or stucco is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment operation and maintenance is desirable. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
