Concrete Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete work and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring quality and efficiency while adhering to safety standards. The Concrete Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete, as well as collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and layout of concrete forms according to project specifications.
• Mix, pour, and finish concrete as per established guidelines and quality standards.
• Operate various tools and equipment related to concrete work, including but not limited to trowels, floats, and saws.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project schedules are met while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand project requirements.
• Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Assist in managing materials on-site and maintaining an organized workspace.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or concrete labor is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid is a plus.
• Understanding of project scheduling and budgeting processes within the construction industry.
• Experience with construction estimating and contracts is beneficial.
• Knowledge of pipeline installation and heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
• Supervising experience or management skills in a construction setting will be considered an asset.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for accurate execution of tasks.
• Prior experience with quality control measures in construction projects is desirable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
