Concrete Worker [Moscow, Russia]

Key responsibilities

• Form and rebar installation: Build and align forms, cut, and place reinforcing steel or mesh inside the forms to strengthen the concrete.
• Concrete preparation: Weigh and mix concrete ingredients and test the consistency of the mix.
• Concrete placement: Pour, spread, and compact concrete to fill the forms evenly. This may involve operating heavy equipment like concrete trucks.
• Finishing: Use hand and power tools to smooth, level, edge, and apply a final finish to the concrete surface according to specifications.
• Site preparation and cleanup: Prepare the work area, dig trenches, and clean up excess materials and debris after the concrete has been poured and finished.
• Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and survey stakes to determine the correct placement and grade for the concrete.
• Tool and equipment maintenance: Operate various hand and small power tools, and perform minor maintenance as needed.
