Credence has an immediate opening for a Configuration/Data Management Support at the journeyman level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) directorate, F-16 division at WPAFB, OH.
F-16 “Viper” AFLCMC/WAM is headquartered at Hill Air Force Base with units located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Tyndall Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The F-16 “Viper” is a multi-role fighter jet delivering air-to-air, air-to-ground, and surveillance capabilities for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Coalition Partners.
The F-16 program has the largest Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program in U.S. history producing over 4,500 jets for 24 countries. Each F-16 FMS case is uniquely tailored to country requirements / development / funding. Presently, FMS production orders exist through 2030. Additionally, the F-16 program includes the Multi-National Fighter Program (MNFP). MNFP is not a typical FMS program, but a unique, cooperative USAF and development program implemented through the FMS process under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). MNFP began in 1975 with the countries of Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway; Portugal joined in 200.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

Shall assist to perform CM and DM tasks related to the development, production and support of F-16 weapon systems, subsystems, and related equipment acquired by the USAF for USAF and FMS programs to include the full range of CM, DM, Engineering Data Management (EDM), and DR actions required governing DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC and program office directives, policies and guidance documents.
- Shall assist to review program-unique specifications to include system specifications, development specifications and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content and compliance with program requirements and appropriate standards.
- Shall assist to process requests for nomenclature and requests for Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs) and assist to track the requests through the appropriate government agencies for response back to the customer.
- Shall assist to accomplish the configuration control function, to include receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking and final disposition of Advanced Change Study Notices (ACSNs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW), DRs, airworthiness directive notes, service actions and notices of deficiency.
- Shall assist in reviewing change proposals for thoroughness, configuration and DM impacts, and compliance with Government requirements.
- Will make appropriate recommendations for Government review and disposition and assist in the preparation and conduct of Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and business management boards (or their equivalent).
- Shall assist in maintaining change proposal files and assist in providing historical information.
- Shall assist to plan and support the conduct of Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), PCAs, and compliance audits, to include audit planning, auditing hardware and software Configuration Items (CIs), and disposition and tracking of action items and minutes.
- Shall assist in maintaining configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded systems and equipment.
- Shall assist data users and requesters with the selection and tailoring of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs); preparation of one-time and standard DIDs; and filling out DM forms such as CDRL and Contractor Data Requirements Substantiation (AF Form 585).
- Shall provide support and expertise to the assigned F-16 System Program Office (F-16 SPO) team in organizing and issuing data calls to include drafting of data call letters for Government review and release.
- Will support the conduct of data reviews to include integrating inputs from program office/IPT members into draft CDRLs, preparing data review documentation, participating in data reviews, drafting data review minutes, and following up on, and maintaining, status of action items.
- Will support assigned F-16 SPO team in the preparation and maintenance of CDRLs for inclusion in RFPs, contracts, and contract modifications using automated processing systems (e.g. AF Generation, Receiving, Integrated Tracking System).
- Shall assist to provide, receive, log-in, track, and maintain status of contract data deliverables; maintain electronic and manual DM files and shall provide associated historical information.
- Shall assist to update and maintain DM files and associated DID files.
- Shall assist in managing engineering data, to include preparing and maintaining the Engineering Data Management Plan (EDMP), establishing and maintaining an engineering data activity file, and providing technical support in the preparation of and conduct of engineering data guidance conferences and engineering drawing In-Process Reviews (IPRs).
- Shall assist to manage the DR function, to include receiving, processing and tracking DRs.
- Shall assist in establishing and maintaining DR and Material Improvement Project (MIP) files and databases. The Contractor shall assist in providing disposition instruction for exhibits.
- Shall assist in the planning and conduct of MIP Review Board meetings.
- Shall interface with all levels of engineering, program management, and leadership, including, but not limited to, CM counterparts, engineers, lead and chief engineers, technical experts, PMs, and civilian and military leadership within the F-16 Division, Fighters Directorate, other AFLCMC directorates, AFLCMC headquarters, AFRL, HQ AFMC, ACC, DoD and FMS air forces, prime and subcontractors, and other Government and private sector personnel.
- Will support various standing F-16 activities and organizations including, but not limited to, the F-16 Consolidated Board, F-16 JMCCT/B, F-16 AB, F-16 CRTs, and F-16 System Safety Groups (e.g. SSG, SSWG, MSTG).
- Shall support formal and informal F-16 program reviews and meetings including, but not limited to, risk assessments, requirements and design reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR), PMRs including pre-PMRs, MAT meetings, TIMs, and configuration audits.
Requirements

Must have at least an active secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD
- OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.
In addition, recommend at least three (3) years of DoD acquisition program office CM experience with digital acquisition techniques focus.
