Construction Accountant

Position: Construction Accountant
Location: DHA Phase 6, Karachi (Onsite)
Position Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Flexible)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Accountant to join our team and provide financial back-office support for our ongoing construction activities.

Construction Accountant, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Timely and accurate recording of all invoices and payments in Foundation
• Administration of all Sub-Contracts including invoices, COI, W-9, etc.…
• Prepare and issue annual 1099 to applicable vendors
• Accurate posting of all equipment and vehicle loan payments
• Weekly certified payroll processing through Payroll4Construction
• Monthly bank reconciliation to be posted in Foundation
• Apply all appropriate cost codes for all invoices and payments in Foundation
• Track all reimbursement payments to employees and employee loans
• Maintain log of all construction insurance policies
• Maintain all vendor and employee files

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting
• 5+ Years of experience in construction accounting.
• Experience managing general ledger functions, and the month-end/year end close process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills

Work Location

This is an onsite position located in DHA Phase 6, Karachi. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office everyday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs210,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
