Construction Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Accountant with a strong background in accounting to join our growing team. This is a key long-term position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, organized environment and is ready manage our financial operations with $4- $5 million annual revenues, while supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service in the industry. The Construction Accountant will work closely with the owners to provide administrative and financial support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in construction accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in preparing financial reports and account reconciliation
• Knowledge of yearend tax reporting and ability to handoff to CPA
• Familiarity with purchase orders, proposals, and invoicing
• Payroll processing knowledge
• Knowledge of AIA billing and WIP is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
