About the Role

Navarra Construction is hiring a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with construction experience to manage the financial operations of our growing company.

This is a hands-on, in-office role where you will oversee bookkeeping, payroll, vendor payments, and job cost tracking across multiple construction projects.

We’re looking for someone reliable, organized, and experienced in QuickBooks and construction accounting who can take ownership of the company’s financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks
• Track project costs, invoices, and budgets per job
• Process and manage payroll and employee time tracking
• Handle vendor payments, purchase orders, and materials tracking
• Review and organize construction invoices and assign to correct projects
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
• Coordinate with field teams on materials, expenses, and job costs
• Ensure all financial data is organized, up-to-date, and audit-ready

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (construction industry preferred)
• Strong expertise in QuickBooks
• Experience with job costing, invoicing, and payroll
• Understanding of construction workflows, materials, and vendors
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (Required)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Must be able to work on-site (no remote work)

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time or Full-time (5–8 hours/day)
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible)
• $25/hour (based on experience)
