Position Overview
We are seeking an Estimator with 1–3 years of experience working with a commercial construction general contractor. You’ll be involved in all phases of the preconstruction process, from reviewing project documents to preparing competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages for commercial construction projects.
• Assist with value engineering and alternative solutions to meet budget requirements.
• Coordinate with the project management team to ensure a smooth handoff after project award.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as an Estimator with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and estimating processes.
• Proficient in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
