Pacific Construction is a commercial general contractor providing a full range of preconstruction and construction services to clients across a diverse range of markets sectors, including industrial, office, retail, healthcare, education, food service, automotive, life sciences, and more. We are looking to add a seasoned Project Manager to our team, located in our company headquarters. The individual should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience working for general contractors in private commercial construction, with 5+ years spent in Estimating/Preconstruction roles budgeting and bidding tenant improvement and ground up projects across a range of market sectors that align with the type of work we do for our clients. Someone who has seen and worked on lot of different projects, but brings a builder mentality and desire to continue to learn and grow with a dynamic group of professional colleagues.

About the Role
At Pacific Construction, the Estimator works closely with the Leadership team, Business Development and Project Management in the preconstruction process to deliver budgets and bids for a wide variety of project types, including tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, site work and ground-up buildings. The Estimator will be expected to consistently develop competitive proposals and be part of a team that serves the needs of clients and helps to us to land profitable projects.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and brings experience working on similar types of projects. They are comfortable managing competing priorities; communicating with subcontractors and vendors on the phone, in person and via email; and taking the lead in the budget or bid process to ensure that all client deliverables are met.
