Construction Labour Head

About the Role

We are looking for a highly professional and experienced Senior Labour Vendor & Workforce Manager to oversee our end-to-end labour sourcing and management operations. The ideal candidate should already have an active network of labour vendors (labour hub), expertise in negotiating competitive labour rates, and proven experience in managing large-scale workforce operations (1,000+ workers).

You will be responsible for identifying reliable vendors, onboarding manpower at required rates, ensuring smooth deployment at project sites, and managing labour-related reporting through a small team under you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and build strong relationships with multiple labour contractors/vendors across India.
  • Ensure competitive labour rates are negotiated and maintained as per company guidelines.
  • Manage deployment of 1000+ workforce across multiple sites/projects.
  • Supervise and guide a team of 2–3 juniors responsible for daily labour attendance, reports, and site records.
  • Monitor vendor performance, attendance, and productivity of deployed manpower.
  • Resolve escalations related to manpower availability, site requirements, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and labour MIS reports on a regular basis.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory labour compliance and company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in labour/vendor management within construction, infrastructure, or facility management industries.
  • Must already have a ready network/labour hub with access to 500–1000+ manpower.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven success in sourcing manpower at competitive rates.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and manpower vendors simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership skills to supervise junior staff and drive accountability.
  • Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory labour laws and compliance is a must.

Preferred Profile

  • Candidates who have already managed large manpower requirements (1000+ labour).
  • Strong vendor database and ability to mobilize workforce quickly.
  • Highly professional, reliable, and result-oriented.

Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and network of vendors)

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
