Inspire Construction is seeking a self-motivated, results-driven Commercial Construction Manager to oversee diverse ground-up and interior build-out commercial projects across Texas. This full-time leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability, innovation, and high standards in quality, budget, and timeline execution. You'll be managing projects from pre-construction through final closeout-while also helping build the company's reputation, client relationships, and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects (strip centers, offices, warehouses, restaurants, gas stations).
  • Lead ground-up builds, site development, and tenant interior build-outs.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee permitting, inspections, and code compliance with architects, engineers, and municipalities.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams.
  • Lead jobsite safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings and generate status reports.
  • Negotiate change orders and contracts with subcontractors/vendors.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to superintendents and field staff.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and maintain schedule accountability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven ability to lead field operations and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, permitting, and site coordination.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction schedules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; construction software experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction or engineering a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and committed to long-term success with our team.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Full-Time
  • Some travel to job sites as needed.

  • This is an onsite role based in Texas. Travel within the state may be required for project oversight.
