Construction Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager – Civil to oversee and manage infrastructure construction projects in compliance with local regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a proven record of successful project delivery, particularly in the UAE.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Management: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Manage project scope and deliverables.
• Resource Management: Hire and oversee subcontractors and site workers. Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local construction laws and implement safety protocols on site.
• Progress Monitoring: Track construction progress, resolve site issues, and adjust schedules to meet project milestones.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction phase.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare progress reports, maintain documentation, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Cost Control: Monitor expenditures and manage project budgets effectively.
• Subcontractor Management: Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and evaluate subcontractor performance.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and lead the project team to ensure productivity and goal achievement.

Job Specifications & Qualifications:Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master’s Degree or PMP certification is a plus.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in infrastructure construction, including 5 years in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of civil and infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with UAE construction laws and regulatory bodies (e.g., ADM, RTA, DEWA, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
