Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and building construction. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing construction activities for building projects and hold a degree in civil engineering or a relevant discipline. Fluency in Arabic is mandatory. The role involves overseeing site operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery of construction works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and performance.
• Resolve technical and operational issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Review and approve construction plans, schedules, and method statements.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, permits, and environmental standards.
• Prepare regular progress reports and updates for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management within building projects.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing high-rise, commercial, or residential building projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project controls.
• Experience working in the MENA region and knowledge of local construction laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
