Construction Manager

Job Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all construction activities related to the project, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project standards and specifications. Duties include supervising site operations, coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in civil works, deep knowledge of construction procedures, and effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with proven expertise in KOC projects and with prior relevant approvals
• Proficient in project management tools, construction methodologies, and KOC standards
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrates excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Must have valid residency in Kuwait

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and strategies aligned with project standards, specifications and construction objectives.
• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring quality workmanship, compliance, and timely completion of tasks.
• Manage manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency and productivity across all construction phases.
• Liaise with client, project consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, engineering drawings, and industry codes, conducting inspections and corrective actions as required.
• Conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with project HSE regulations to achieve safe and incident-free construction activities.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, in line with the role and organizational requirements.
