As Construction Manager, the role shall ensure that all construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with Aramco’s standards. The role shall work closely with subcontractors, client representatives, and site teams to keep the project moving smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring alignment with project schedules and safety protocols.
Supervise subcontractor performance, ensuring quality and compliance with Aramco specifications.
Act as the primary site interface for the Client, supporting routine project activities and resolving field-level issues.
Monitor and report progress, risks, and deviations, using structured tracking tools.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSE policies.
Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources, and with subcontractor procurement activities.
Requirements:
Experience in construction management, and relevant experience in Aramco upstream/gas projects or preferably in Unconventional program
Strong understanding of Aramco standards, site protocols, and contractor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:
-
Develop, review, and implement detailed construction plans and schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.

Oversee the daily operations on-site, ensuring the project progresses according to the construction plan.

Monitor work progress and adjust plans as necessary to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
-
Ensure the availability of all necessary resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet project goals.

Team Leadership & Site Supervision:
-
Lead, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, site engineers.
-
Assign tasks and ensure all personnel are adequately trained and equipped to perform their jobs.

Provide leadership and mentorship, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
-
Conduct regular performance reviews and safety audits of the site teams to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Management:
-
Enforce and adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental standards to protect workers and the surrounding environment.

Conduct daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and safety audits to ensure safety protocols are being followed at all times.

Ensure compliance with relevant local and international regulations, including OSHA, ISO, and specific oil and gas industry standards.

Manage site-specific risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.

Oversee emergency response preparedness, ensuring the site is equipped with proper safety measures.

Quality Control & Assurance:

Ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed the specified quality standards as per the project requirements.

Review and approve materials and construction methods to maintain quality and compliance.
-
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality and resolve any issues promptly.

Work closely with the quality control team to document and resolve non-conformances.

Budget & Cost Control:
-
Oversee the project budget and ensure the construction activities are executed within the allocated budget.

Track and report on expenses, identifying areas where cost reductions can be made without compromising safety or quality.

Approve and review change orders, ensuring proper documentation and cost tracking.

Manage subcontractor payments and work orders to ensure financial accuracy.

Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting:
-
Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
-
Provide regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and external stakeholders, highlighting key project milestones, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
-
Attend regular project meetings to discuss the status of the project, resolve any issues, and plan for future phases.

Address client concerns and ensure that their requirements are met through effective communication and problem resolution.

Contract Management & Procurement:
-
Oversee the procurement of construction materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
-
Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out per contractual agreements, within budget, and on schedule.

Review and approve contracts, ensuring that terms and conditions meet the project’s requirements.

Documentation & Compliance:
-
Ensure that all documentation, including contracts, permits, safety records, and reports, is maintained accurately and up to date.

Oversee the documentation of project progress, quality checks, safety audits, and environmental reports.

Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards and the client's specifications.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
-
Identify potential construction challenges or delays and develop strategies to overcome them.
-
Make critical decisions quickly and efficiently to keep the project on track.
-
Resolve conflicts between teams or subcontractors and facilitate smooth operations across the site.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Educational Requirements:
-
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
-
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, NEBOSH, OSHA) or membership with industry organizations (e.g., AACE, PMI) is a plus.

Experience:
-
Experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on oil and gas infrastructure (e.g., refineries, offshore platforms, pipelines).
-
Proven track record of managing site-based teams, subcontractors, and multi-disciplinary construction activities in the oil and gas industry.

Experience in managing health, safety, and environmental protocols on construction sites.

Skills & Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of oil and gas construction practices, regulations, and safety standards.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
