Construction Manager - Dubai



The Opportunity


We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Construction Manager to join our client's dynamic Operations team in Dubai. This critical role reports to the Project Director / Sr Project Manager and is focused on ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.



Key Role & Responsibilities


The core purpose of this role is to manage all production and associated functions on-site. You will be the central point of contact for project delivery and control, with key accountabilities including:


  • Programme Management: Plan, coordinate, and review the progress of the Construction programme, taking necessary corrective action to meet, and where possible, exceed the client’s expectation.
  • Resource Planning: Determine resource requirements for works, including defining future personnel needs.
  • Sub-Contractor Coordination: Ensure, through progress meetings, that all sub-contractors have all the necessary resources and information to deliver the programme of work.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure strict compliance with the contract drawings and specifications, together with the Employer’s requirements and contractors proposals.
  • Commercial Liaison: Proactively liaise with the Commercial function to monitor and review the preliminary contract costs against actual costs and delivery.
  • Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the Planning function to monitor and review project progress against the agreed timetable.
  • Safety & Environment: Accountable for ensuring that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to.



Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor/Diploma in Civil/MEP Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the relevant industry.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 years’ experience OR be a fully qualified professional with a minimum of 2 years PQE (Post-Qualification Experience) with an Intermediate Level Qualification.
