Construction Manager

We are urgently seeking an experienced Construction Manager with strong Interior Fit Out expertise to oversee day-to-day project execution, site coordination, and project delivery for ongoing and future projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Material/Manpower Coordination

• Review project drawings and determine accurate material and manpower requirements.
• Prepare requirements and submit them to the procurement department for approval and purchasing.
• Support the preparation of detailed project programs, schedules, and activity timelines.

Site Supervision & Execution

• Conduct daily site supervision, resolving technical and engineering issues immediately.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Implement drawing changes, manpower adjustments, and technical resolutions efficiently.
• Ensure project activities meet quality benchmarks and client requirements.

Progress Tracking & Reporting

• Track project milestones and deliverables, preparing accurate progress reports.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and site records according to reporting schedules.
• Record all delays, design changes, and issues for claims preparation in coordination with PQS.

QA/QC, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict compliance with QA/QC requirements and HSE standards.
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all site personnel.
• Identify and correct non-conformities, ensuring work aligns with specifications and standards.

Project Close-Out & Handover

• Oversee the preparation of as-built drawings, manuals, keys, and related handover documentation.
• Assist in securing completion certificates from clients.
• Manage demobilization activities and prepare close-out reports.
• Receive and resolve snag lists, ensuring timely closure of all outstanding tasks.
• Attend to issues during the defect liability period and ensure prompt rectification.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Guide, motivate, and lead site teams to achieve optimal performance.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and quality workmanship across all project segments.
• Monitor and evaluate workforce performance to encourage continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of managing complex site operations, subcontractors, manpower, and project timelines. Middle East and fit-out experience are mandatory.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of site experience in construction.
• Mandatory interior fit-out project experience.
• Experience in commercial and hospitality projects is preferred.
• Middle East experience is an advantage.

Certifications

• Project management or site supervision certifications are an advantage.
• Valid driving license is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, methods, and site processes.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and fit-out standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
