Construction Manager

Job Title: Construction Manager (High-Rise Specialist) – Dubai, UAE

Role Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for the physical execution of the high-rise project, transforming architectural and structural designs into a completed skyscraper. You will manage the day-to-day site operations, ensuring that the "Core and Shell" and "Final Fit-out" progress according to the master schedule while adhering to Dubai’s world-class safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Vertical Site Operations & Logistics

• Coordinate the "Cycle Time" for vertical elements (slip-form or jump-form systems) to ensure the tower rises consistently.
• Manage complex site logistics, including Tower Crane placements, Construction Hoist allocations, and the "just-in-time" delivery of materials to avoid congestion on busy Dubai roads (e.g., Sheikh Zayed Road or Business Bay areas).
• Oversee high-pressure concrete pumping operations and specialized vertical transport systems.

2. Regulatory Compliance & HSE

• Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, and Dubai Development Authority (DDA) regulations.
• Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, specifically managing heat stress protocols during the mandatory summer midday break hours required by UAE Labor Law.
• Coordinate with Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) for fire safety inspections and the installation of life safety systems.

3. Subcontractor & Labor Management

• Lead and synchronize a multi-national workforce and various subcontractors (Civil, MEP, Façade).
• Oversee the installation of the unitized curtain wall (façade), ensuring it follows closely behind the structural completion to "close the building" as quickly as possible.
• Manage the labor productivity and welfare of thousands of workers on-site.

4. Quality & Technical Execution

• Supervise the execution of high-strength concrete pours and post-tensioning works.
• Manage the "Mock-up" approval process for typical floors and luxury finishes.
• Conduct regular "Snagging" walks to ensure the building meets the "Grade A" luxury standards expected in the Dubai market.
