Deputy Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering interior fit-out projects across Dubai. The role requires strong team leadership, hands-on site management, and working knowledge of Primavera (P6) to support project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in managing end-to-end interior fit-out projects
• Lead and supervise site teams, engineers, foremen, and subcontractors
• Plan, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6
• Coordinate site activities, manpower, and resources for timely project execution
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Assist in cost control, variation management, and procurement
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and project documentation
• Act as Project Manager in their absence when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• 5–8 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects
• Proven experience in leading project teams and site operations
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works including joinery, finishes, and MEP coordination
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 for planning and tracking project schedules
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office; basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
