Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil to lead and manage large-scale building construction and renovation projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of projects while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all civil construction activities from project initiation to handover
• Plan, organize, and control project execution in line with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets and take corrective actions where required
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction standards, authority approvals, and safety regulations
• Review and approve method statements, work programs, shop drawings, and material submittals
• Lead site teams including engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors
• Resolve site issues, technical queries, and construction challenges efficiently
• Ensure quality control and QA/QC procedures are implemented at all stages of construction
• Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews
• Ensure timely project handover, snagging, and close-out documentation
• Coordinate renovation works with minimal disruption to existing facilities (for renovation projects)

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15–18 years of total experience in building construction or renovation projects
• Minimum 10+ years GCC / Qatar experience preferred
• Strong experience managing high-rise buildings, commercial buildings, residential or facility renovation projects
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and local regulations
• Familiar with project scheduling, cost control, and risk management
• PMP, UPDA/MMU and other relevant certifications required
• Arabic-speaking candidates preferred
