Construction Manager Trainee

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager / Construction Manager Assistant/ Trainee at Clarke Contracting Corporation located in Lawndale, CA. The Project Manager will oversee various construction projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget. They will also be responsible for managing project teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, reviewing project plans, and monitoring construction progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 2-3+ years of experience in construction project management in PUBLIC WORKS setting preferred.
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations, standards, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
• Experience with budget management and cost control
• Strong phone and communication etiquette

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
