We are growing — and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can help elevate our brand, strengthen our pursuit strategy, and support continued expansion.

Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will lead Ordner Construction’s marketing strategy and execution. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for proposal development, brand management, digital marketing, content creation, and internal communications.

This position works closely with leadership, project managers, estimators, and business development to position Ordner competitively in the marketplace and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal & Pursuit Management

  • Lead development and production of high-quality RFPs, RFQs, and interview presentations.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to gather project data and craft compelling narratives.
  • Develop pursuit strategies and messaging tailored to target markets and clients.

Brand Strategy & Collateral

  • Maintain and enforce brand standards across all internal and external materials.
  • Create and update project sheets, team resumes, brochures, case studies, and presentations.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity company-wide.

Digital & Content Marketing

  • Manage website updates, project spotlights, and news content (WordPress or similar CMS).
  • Develop and execute social media strategy highlighting projects, culture, recruiting, and community engagement.
  • Track marketing performance metrics and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Coordinate photography and videography for project documentation and promotional use.

Graphic Design & Creative Execution

  • Design layouts for proposals, advertisements, signage, recruiting materials, and internal communications.
  • Create polished visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite and related platforms.

Internal Communications, Events & Outreach

  • Support company events, award submissions, trade associations, and community initiatives.
  • Assist leadership with presentations and corporate communications.

Database & Marketing Infrastructure

  • Maintain marketing database, project portfolios, CRM systems, and content libraries.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for resumes, project data, and templates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of marketing experience; commercial construction or A/E/C experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing proposal development (RFP/RFQ responses).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, Canva, and CapCut.
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
